A must do while you're in the gorgeous Virgin Islands is a day sail on Jester. There is no better way to experience the reason you're here... the water, the sun, the beach.
A fun and easy half or full day sail, accompanied by light breezes and sparkling water (and occassionally some dolphin friends) will give you the opportunity to play in some of the most beautiful places on the planet. Snorkel Christmas Cove, a protected marine sanctuary and home to some of the most diverse marine life and healthy coral for miles around. Or cruise over to the Virgin Islands National Park and anchor off Honeymoon, one of the most photographed and private beaches in the Islands. The colorful shallow reef is teeming with loads of tropical fish, turtles and rays for some great snorkeling. And if you're in the mood to snooze, feel free to just lay around on the white sugar sand under a coconut palm. Your Captain will pick the best itinerary for the weather conditions and you won't be disappointed, no matter where you end up!
While you and your company explore and play (or laze around), your Captain will gril you a fabulous BBQ lunch to keep your energy reserves up. Tropical Voodoo Chicken, Veggie Rasta Pasta, Corn on the Cob, and a homemade Island Salsa and chips served on board is a delicious mid-day break. He had a "real job" in the restaurant business for many years, and knows his culinary stuff. Jester’s open bar is always fully stocked with a variety of ice-cold beverages and specialty libations… Jester Juice, the boat's signature cocktail, is a must-have.
Jester is a safe and comfortable vessel that is fun and easy to sail. There's a roomy cockpit with lots of pillows as well as a large cushion and bean bag on the foredeck for relaxing and soaking up some sun and scenery. The boat is also very spacious below deck with a full galley and a private head (that’s boat talk for toilet). Jester is also fully equipped with an easy to board swim ladder, fresh water shower, top quality snorkel gear with safety vests, float mats and noodles, plus fishing and trolling gear and always some great tunes! There is also a sturdy dingy for exploring and getting to shore.
Captain Jim Kozar, a Coast Guard licensed Master Captain and longtime local is the most accomodating and easy going captain around. He has sailed extenisively throughout the Virgin Islands and can tell you all about the islands' history and folklore as well as the very best spots to visit as well as the places to avoid.
